We are Don and Anya Mammoser and we are Vagabond Photographers. We love to travel, we know how to travel, we live to travel and we enjoy capturing our travels through our cameras and journals. We believe that any person in the world with any budget can (and should!) experience the happiness of discovering new places and people through travel.
Our longest and biggest adventure lasted for 21 months and took us through Eastern Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Asia and much of Southeast Asia. While on the road Don never failed to bring his camera and his 'photographer's eye' along. The photographs he took, together with a ton of travel notes and daily journal entries became the basis for Don's new book "A Photographer's Eye and A Traveler's Heart". We hope this book will inspire you to finally go somewhere new and 'exotic'. If you ask us, we'll always recommend that you pack your bag and explore the world. Safe travels!
Personally I like going places where I don't speak the language, don't know anybody, don't know my way around and don't have any delusions that I'm in control. Disoriented, even frightened,
I feel alive, awake in ways I never am at home.
